Task 8 & 9: Ethics (1 hour)

8. Read the excerpts on Ethics & Safe Practices for teachers

9. Read the excerpt titled Modern Ethics: Beyond the Yamas and Niyamas

 

Task 10: Teaching Techniques (3 hours)

Watch the video series “Light Up Little Lights” for 5-8 year olds & 8-12 year olds to see how themes are used to teach children’s yoga & reflect upon what you observed. 

 

Task 11 & 12: Teaching Practice (1 hour)

11. Teach one of the “Breathing” scripts with a child aged between 5-12 years

12. Write a self reflection on your teaching experience
