About Stacey Louise
One of Australia’s most experienced and inspirational Children’s Yoga Teachers.
A Heartfelt Journey
Hi, I’m Stacey — and for as long as I can remember, I’ve loved being with children.
I originally planned to become a kindy or primary school teacher, but when I started my Bachelor of Education, something didn’t feel quite right — it wasn’t creative enough for me. I changed direction, completed a Bachelor of Communication, and landed a job working in children’s television at Network TEN, followed by live-to-air news production.

Throughout those years, I was also practicing yoga and teaching group fitness classes before and after work. But the stress of the TV world eventually took its toll. A diagnosis of an autoimmune condition became the turning point: I decided to prioritise my wellbeing and step into a new path that blended movement, mindfulness and meaning.

Teaching Yoga from the Heart
In 2005, I launched my own business, teaching yoga and fitness to both adults and children. By 2012, I was facilitating Children’s Yoga Teacher Trainings — practical, wholehearted courses that encourage educators to bring their own unique magic into their work with children.

Full circle moments:
-
The drama class where I first experienced meditation? Now I teach meditation to high school students.
-
My dream of being a kindy teacher? It’s evolved into a dream job — bringing yoga and emotional regulation tools into early learning settings.
-
My experience in TV production? It helped me create inspiring kids yoga videos, TV appearances, and online courses.
-
My personal experiences in hospital? They inspired Calm Fairies, a yoga-based support program helping kids feel calm and safe during medical treatments.
What Makes My Approach Different
I don’t just teach yoga poses. I teach tools for regulation, connection, and self-awareness — with a deep respect for the nervous system, trauma-informed care and each child’s unique, inner world.
