Yoga Classes for Kids, Tweens & Teens

Does your child need some "down time"?

Do they get anxious and need to learn how to calm down? 

Or perhaps they are super busy and never seem to stop? 

Yoga is a wonderful activity to guide kids and teens into a calm state. Using themed classes, we move our bodies in a fun way: enjoying different poses & interactive group activities. From there, with a focus on calm breathing and mindfulness, kids are ready to be still and learn how to listen to their own body's wisdom.  

Kids Classes include:

* stretches to improve flexibility

* exercises that help build strength; co-ordination & good posture

* AcroYoga & games to enhance team work; social skills; playfulness & communication

* relaxation & breathing techniques to help kids reduce anxiety

 

The class is a balance of FUN & CALM!  

Other info you need to know:

~ Open to all levels of experience

~Yoga mats provided

~ Wear comfortable exercise clothes, such as tights & a fitted or tucked in top. Avoid shorts and gaping tops.

~ Long hair to be tied up. 

~ Bring a water bottle

Private 1: 1 sessions are available if you feel your child/ teen needs some extra support before practicing yoga in a group environment. More information about Private Yoga Packages.

Yoga for Tweens (aged 8-12)

An interactive 60 minute class for children aged 8-12 to enjoy yoga poses; games; partner yoga and learning life skills in a fun way. Each class ends with quiet time to breathe and relax. 

When:

Thursday, 4-5pm

Term 4, 2020: Oct 8- Dec 3 (8 weeks)

No Class Nov 5 due to Stacey's teacher training 

Where:

North Shore Community Centre, Mudjimba,

Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia

Cost: 

$50 4 class pass (+ GST)

$100 term pass (+ GST) 

$160 term pass (+GST) for 2 siblings 

No credits for missed classes

Bookings close for Term 4 from Oct 29th. Only a 4 class pass can be used at this point for the last 4 weeks of term.

Yoga for Teen Girls 

A beautiful class for teen girls to learn life skills and build self confidence through yoga poses and empowering affirmations and partner yoga. Each class ends with quiet time to breathe and relax. 

When:

Thursday, 5-6.15pm

Term 4, 2020: Oct 8- Dec 3 (8 weeks)

No Class Nov 5 due to Stacey's teacher training 

 

Where:

Cost: 

$55 4 class pass (+GST)

$110 term pass (+ GST) 

$170 term pass (+GST) for 2 siblings
