Get ready for a delightful weekend away in the relaxed environment of the rainforest. 

Start date: Friday, 22nd of July, 2022 

Time: Check in to your accomodation at 3pm. Opening circle at 4pm, followed by a yoga class & Yoga Nidra.

What to bring

Yoga:

* yoga mat

* bolster if you have one. If not, please email me now so I can make a note to bring one for you. (limited numbers on offer)

* eye pillow/ mask (if you like to use them in relaxation) 

* 1 towel to use as a prop (or a yoga blanket if you prefer) 

* a shawl or towel to put over the meditation chairs provided by Kondalilla (COVID safe plan) 

* an extra shawl or towel to put over the bolster if you are borrowing one (COVID safe plan) 

* a journal/ notebook & pen

Food: 

* any additional snacks you may like  (You will be provided fruit, nuts & bliss balls for morning tea + a sweet treat for afternoon tea)

* water bottle (filtered water is available to fill up your bottles) 

* 2 breakfasts (or book at the restaurant/ order hamper/ go out into Montville) 

* 2 dinners (or book at the restaurant/ order hamper/ go out into Montville) 

* BYO coffee

Clothing for:

* 3 active yoga practices

* lazing / an afternoon relaxation session (maybe some comfy baggy pants for the opening circle on Friday) 

* layers  (shawl/ jacket/ socks) as it can get cool up there, especially if it rains

* swimwear & towel if you want to swim in the pool 

* walking shoes if you want to enjoy the rainforest walk (it is at the end of the driveway and can take as little as 45 mins)

Venue

Directions: Follow the signs to Kondalilla National Park/ Falls.

Once you drive past Elements Cafe, the entrance to Kondalilla is straight ahead, up the steep driveway. 

 

Parking: Once you go up the driveway, you will see parks on the right, next to reception. Park there to check in at reception. They will guide you to your room where you can park, then walk to the "Picnic Creek" yoga space. You will pass that on your right on your way to your accommodation. 

If you are aren't staying onsite, you can arrive around 3.45pm and drive past reception toward the yoga space on the right. 

Park in the lower carpark directly opposite our training space. 

If there's no spots in that carpark, park in the one right next to it, closer to the restaurant. 

If you need to contact reception, please call 54457650, or email them prior to the event date.

Food

Lunch & afternoon tea is catered by Lizette from "The Wholefood Kitchen".  She's been my event caterer for years now and her food is always noteworthy in the feedback from participants. 

 

Lunch & snacks provided are gluten free and vegetarian.

Please email me now if you have other dietary requirements. 

Herbal tea is provided. There is no coffee- sorry! You’re welcome to BYO  or get one from Elements Cafe up the road. 

Please bring a water bottle and any additional snacks you may like during the day (fruit, nuts & bliss balls are provided for morning tea. A sweet treat for afternoon tea).

Please provide your own breakfast and dinners. All accomodation is self contained (with a fridge, stove tops, pots, pans, toasters, crockery and cutlery) so you can prepare your own meals in your space if you choose. You can book at the restaurant/ order hamper/ go out into Montville.

COVID Safe Plan

* Please notify me ASAP if you have any cold / flu symptoms or if you have been in any hotspots, or had contact with anyone with COVID or who has been in hotspots within the last 14 days

* We are allowed 20 people in the space adhering to COVID restrictions, according to Kondalilla. We will have less than that to allow for adequate, safe spacing. 

* There will be hand sanitiser provided at each door and it is part of our protocol to use it each time we enter the room and before/ after coughing, sneezing etc

* There are 2 toilets onsite so hand washing facilities are also readily available 

* Please reduce touching of other people and props unless instructed and only after hand sanitisation 

* Please bring a towel/ shawl as a hygiene measure to put over the resort's meditation chairs and an additional one if you are borrowing a bolster

3pm:  Check in to your beautiful room

4-6pm: Opening circle; gentle class; yoga nidra

Saturday, July 23

9am: Morning yoga class; activities; lunch

1.30-3.30pm: Free time

3.30-5.30pm: afternoon restorative yoga; sound healing 

Sunday, July 24

7am-8.30am: Mindful morning walk to the waterfall

10am: Yoga & meditation; lunch; 

2pm: Closing circle
